Christmas Cruise

One of my favorite memories I have with Chris was our first vacation together back in December 2007 when we went on a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines over the holidays. Chris had just graduated from UCF and we were able to do the trip with our two friends Brett and Ilea. It was an incredible bonding experience for both of us and we have been able to do another cruise since then in 2008. Well, 2008 seems like a long time ago and we have been wanting to do another cruise together. We were researching cruises bound for the southern Carribean to go on over the holidays with our parents, and we kept coming back to the same ship where we had our first vacation. The only problem was it was a nine night and wouldn't return until the day after Christmas. That would be a no go for my parents who enjoy being home for the holidays and it would be hard on my dad who would have to ask off for a week during the busiest time of the year.
As things turned out, due to medical issues with my dad's nurse practitioner he is unable to take any vacation time over the holidays. Chris' parents ran into similar problems with his step-dad's job, and are unable to take time off due to work :(
After much research, we came back to that one cruise and both agreed that it would be fun and romantic to go back to our first ship. With luck we will have great weather and be in good health the entire trip.

Our ship leaves Friday December 17th out of Miami and returns the day after Christmas on Sunday, December 26th. This works out nice for me because I only have to take one day off work, Chris just five days.

Also, my parents have been so kind as to watch Toby and Ronin for us the entire time we are gone. This saves us soo much money and makes it easier to travel. Hopefully, they will be on their best behavior (the dogs) so my parents won't regret their decision :)
